Located in the historic part of the city this Byzantine slyle church was erected at the foundation of old white-stone church destructed during the Soviet period in 1930s. For over a century the church was a center of spiritual life for town's residents. In 1990s the copy of the old church was constructed and crowned with octahedral golden domes.
