The Art Gallery houses first in the Okrug, magnificent collection of world-class art. Three Gallery's showrooms display 15th- and 16th-century Orthodox icons, noteworthy collection of Russian paintings and drawings, decorative arts and crafts. The Gallery's permanent collection contains more than 300 major works of art.

Unique original paintings by internationally acclaimed Russian artists - Rokotov, Tropinin, Repin, Aivazovsky, Surikov, Levitan and many more - were purchased at auctions in London and Moskow, and drawn from private collections in Saint Petersburg.

The Gallery's exhibitions providing new opportunities for people to enjoy world-class art were appreciated by visitors.
