Water gateway to Khanty-Mansiysk is contemporary Ferry Terminal, located in the southern part of the city - Samarovo. The city is half surrounded by the Irtysh river. Ferry services, provided during the navigation period (May, 15 - October, 15) by Khanty-Mansiysk Passenger Department joint stock company and Severrechflot joint stock company, connect the city with neighboring towns and settlements.

Passenger and freight transportation is also provided by several privately run ferry services.
Local government approved ferry service and inner waterway development plan.
Our ferries handled over 400 thousand passengers in 2005.
