Highlighted by unique forest landscapes, the museum is nestled among the verdant hills of Samarovsky Chugas natural park. Here you can find traditional Khanty and Mansi buildings - wooden houses, sacred buildings - labazes, household supplies, religious and cult ceremonial objects, taken from the tribal camp located on the Agan river. Guests will be invited to the winter house to sit next to the chuval (wood-fired traditional oven) and guess a national puzzle, or listen to national legends, told by Khanty folk tales narrator. At the end of the event unique and delightful traditional Khanty dishes like smoked sterlet, shurpa, ukha fish soup, pickled vegetables and mashrooms will be offered to guests.
Creative options:
dressing up in national clothes, learning Khanty dance and song, traditionally used to cajole the spirits. Guests will learn how to prepare smoked starlet and herbal tea.
